The Cabinet of Ministers makes a statement to President Volodymyr Zelensky on the dismissal of a number of heads of regional state administrations. This was announced by the prime minister, Volodymyr Groysman.
“Today we propose the president to dismiss a number of heads of regional state administrations and we expect the Presidential Administration together with the secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers, to work out the mechanisms for selecting new contenders for the heads of the RSA so that we can work promptly,” said the prime minister.
“The law stipulates that there is a combined procedure: the approval of the government and the appointment of the president, therefore, we will carry out all preparatory work as soon as possible, and I have given relevant instructions to the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers and the Cabinet of Ministers,” added Groysman. At the same time, the names of the governors weren’t mentioned by the prime minister.
In its turn, one of the Minister Oleksandr Sayenko told that the government approved the resignation of the heads of Lviv, Donetsk, Zakarpattia, Zaporizhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Volyn, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Ternopil, Khmelnytsky, Chernihiv region state administrations and will send a corresponding document to the president.
“Now we face a common task to find professional managers who will be responsible for the region as soon as possible,” said Sayenko.
