Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Andriy Parubiy, claims that he submitted to the Constitutional Court a list of deputies who, as of May 21, were part of the parliamentary coalition. According to him, the coalition was active at the time of the dissolution statement, therefore the dissolution was illegal.
“At the=at moment there were 227 deputies in the coalition,” Parubiy said.
According to him, in 2014, the coalition included 302 people’s deputies; since then, both factions and individual deputies have left it, but not all of the people’s deputies have submitted applications for withdrawal from the coalition, therefore the majority members are still there formally.
“You will be very surprised when you see names on this list, but this is a fact. They did not write statements of withdrawal,» said Parubiy.
Note that the coalition must have at least 226 deputies.
