There were no insecticides among the substances that leaked into the Ros River during an accident in Pohrebishchensky District in Vinnytsia region. This was announced on Monday at a briefing by the first deputy chairman of the Vinnytsia Regional State Administration Andrii Hyzhko.
“As of the eight in the morning, Monday, as a result of the water test on the border of Vinnytsia and Kyiv regions, the concentration of dangerous substances exceeding the maximum permissible norm was not detected. These are substances of the second-third grade of danger. After the usage of some of them work in the fields can be resumed in a day or in three days,” explains Hyzhko.
According to him, the information that during an accident near the village of Zbarzhivka, a dangerous insecticide Nurral-B leaked into the river Ros was not confirmed. As for the substances that got into the water, the excess of the permissible standards for the content of fungicides and herbicides was recorded only at the place of their leakage into the river. In order to protect people and domestic animals, this zone was marked by warning tapes, residents of the village are provided with drinking water.
