Ex-president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko hopes that in the future parliament, his team will be able to unite with the pro-presidential faction Servant of the people to move towards the European Union and NATO.

“I express the hope that we will be able to unite in order to continue our movement towards the European Union and NATO,” Poroshenko said, answering the question of the TV host, whether there will be an alliance in the future parliament of the teams Poroshenko and Zelensky.

He noted that in 2023 Ukraine should apply for EU membership and expressed the hope that the EU budget for 2028-2035 will provide for the entry of Ukraine into the EU.

Poroshenko also stressed that European solidarity will never unite “with the fifth column of Yanukovych, with political forces that are trying to bring us back the ‘Russian world’.”
