The Central Election Commission refused the escapee deputy Oleksandr Onyshchenko to register as a candidate for the extraordinary parliamentary elections.

“The commission refused Onyschenko, who was nominated by the Socialist Party of Ukraine in electoral district № 93, because he failed to comply with the requirements of the Constitution and the electoral law on residence in Ukraine over the past 5 years on the day of holding extraordinary elections of people’s deputies of Ukraine,” explained in the report.

Onyshchenko and his cousins sold gas from state-owned Ukrhazvydobuvannia through several front companies, so it caused the state a loss of more than 1.613 billion hryvnias.
