Former head of the Party of Regions faction Oleksandr Yefremov will enter the top ten list of Opposition Block in the parliamentary elections. This was stated by MP Yevhen Murayev.
According to him, Yefremov will take the place of Volodymyr Pylypenko, who has decided not to participate in the elections.
“Yefremov has been in detention for three years already because of false accusations, so I hope this will help him to get out and attract attention to thousands of dissidents who are in prison now due to the regime of Poroshenko,” Murayev said.
Recall that Yefremov was arrested in July 2016 suspected of encroachment on the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine. He is also suspected of supporting the terrorist organization LPR and the illegal takeover of Luhanskvuhillia’s property.
