Ministry for Temporary Occupation Territories and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine decided to monitor the purpose of the trips of residents of Crimea to mainland Ukraine.
The monitoring was announced by the Yusuf Kurkchi at a press conference in Kherson. According to him, monitoring in the form of anonymous questioning will be conducted at checkpoints of entry-exit at the administrative border with the Crimea “in the near future”.
“This will allow us to more thoroughly analyze the problems that are being addressed and encountered by the inhabitants of the occupied Crimea and determine the trends. We conducted preliminary monitoring and we can say that the main part is solving the problems of recording, the other – receipt of medical services. There is a certain category of people involved in learning. And a very small part crosses the administrative border to go further – on vacation or on other business,” Kurkchi said.
