President Volodymyr Zelensky stressed that Ukraine is not ready to negotiate with separatists, but is ready to continue working in the Minsk format. He said this at a press conference after meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron.
Before this, Macron’s interpreter made a mistake, “Zelensky has given signs that he is ready to cease the fire, and he is ready for dialogue with the separatists.”
Zelensky denied these words.
“There is a small mistake here. We are not ready for dialogue with the separatists – that’s how I heard the translation. We are ready to act in the Minsk format. We are ready to continue the relationship in the Minsk format. We are ready to cease the fire,” the president said.
