Murder attempt against the Odesa activist and civil activist Oleh Mykhailyk was returned from Kyiv to Odesa. Mykhailyk wrote about this on his Facebook page.

The activist recalled that he had previously stressed: the investigation of his case was openly sabotaged in Odesa.

“A few days ago, Prosecutor General Lutsenko signed a decree on transferring the case back to Odesa… It’s not difficult to assume what’s going to happen to the investigation next. The case was transferred to Odesa to disclaim all responsibility for complete failure and frankly failed case. Some prosecutor or investigator in Odesa will be responsible for this failure, so he will simply become scape-goat,” Mikhailik said.

In a commentary to the Slidstvo.Info, Mykhailyk’s lawyer Vadym Oksyuta linked the transfer of the case with the alleged report of Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko to the Verkhovna Rada, where the question of his resignation should be considered.
