On the afternoon of June 28, a plane arrived in Kyiv with Ukrainians freed from militant captivity. On the eve, pro-Russian politician Viktor Medvedchuk agreed on the release of captives with the leaders of the so-called “DPR” and “LPR”.

Medvedchuk’s spokesman called the names of those who are released:

– Velyky Dmytro, born in 1988, the military of AFU, was captured in 09/11/2016

– Veremeychyk Yakiv, born in 1986, the military of AFU, was captured in 05/25/2018

– Mikheev Eduard, born in 1964, civilian, captured by the militants in 16.10.2017

– Goryainov Maksym, born in 1984, the military of AFU, was captured in 05/22/2019

A spokeswoman for the Security Service of Ukraine, Olena Hitlyanska, who also arrived at the Kyiv airport, suggested that the released Ukrainians undergo a medical examination.
