The operation of the formula “Rotterdam +” stopped on July 1, 2019, due to the transition to a new electricity market.

In August 2018, the National Commission, which regulates the field of energy and house utilities, cancelled the “Rotterdam +” electricity pricing formula.

Earlier, the formula was introduced in connection with the loss of control over the part of the Donetsk coal basin due to the war in the East.

Due to the application of the new electricity generation formula, including the generation of DTEK Rinat Akhmetov and the state-owned Centrenergo, they began to sell electricity for a higher price.
