Chervonenko Racing team publicly supported their former racer, politician and businessman Yevhen Chervonenko. This is reported by Ukrainian publications with reference to the pages of the candidate.
It is noted that the motor rally team that won numerous world awards, posted a video in support of the politician. In the video, there are archive shots, in which Yevhen Chervonenko himself was still professionally engaged in races and represented the team at international competitions.
“I’ve got a lump in my throat, I wanted to see the Crimea Ukrainian Monte Carlo. And I did, without talks, I’m not ashamed. When someone cries that Crimea is ours… So make it ours,” the ex-racer himself responded to the video.
Recall that Yevhen Chervonenko ended his career at the age of 55 after racing at the final stage of the World Rally Championship, which was held in Wales. Shortly before that, during the European Cup in Bulgaria, Chervonenko suffered a heart attack, after which doctors forbade him to do motorsports. During the years of his sports career, he managed to become a master of sports of international level, a prize-winner of European and Ukrainian championships, and also an owner of the European Cup.
