The ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet control the actions of the British destroyer and Canadian frigate that entered the Black Sea water area on July 2. This was reported on Wednesday, by the Russian agency TASS with reference to the National Center for Defense Management of the Russian Federation.
“The forces and means of the Black Sea Fleet began to observe the destroyer of the British Navy Duncan and frigate Navy Canada Toronto, which entered the Black Sea area on July 2, 2019,” the statement reads.
It is noted that control over the ships of NATO is carried out by a small antisubmarine ship “Kasimov” and a guard ship “Inquisitive”.
NATO ships are currently conducting naval drills in the Black Sea within a framework of Sea Breeze – 2019.
