In the budget for 2020, they plan to install 33% more funds for road repairs than in 2019. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman announced this, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reports.
It is noted that in general, about 75 billion hryvnias are going to be spent on road repairs. In 2019, 56 billion hryvnias were allocated for these purposes.
“Next year we will offer the budget of the Road Fund at least 75 billion UAH. This will intensify the construction of high-quality roads,” said Groysman.
It should be noted that the decision on the allocation of funds for one or another purpose is adopted by the Verkhovna Rada during voting for the budget for the next year. The budget itself is prepared and submitted by the government.
