President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky introduced a new head of Luhansk Regional Administration and handed him a certificate. Thus, the region is headed by Vitaliy Komarnytsky.

The corresponding decree of July 5 is on the site of the president. Before the appointment to the post, Komarnitsky was the rector of the Luhansk State University of Internal Affairs named after Didorenko.

Previously he worked at the same institution as as a head of the postgraduate education center, vice rector for economic affairs and resource support.

In addition, it is reported that in 2010, he was elected a member of the Luhansk Regional State Administration from the Party of Regions.
