The first Ukrainian with Down syndrome received a higher degree. Bohdan Kravchuk received a bachelor’s degree in history. This was written on a Facebook page of an employee of the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance Lesia Bondaruk.
5 years Bohdan studied conscientiously and often was much more successful than ordinary students.
“They could skip classes, be unprepared… And Bohdan loves history so much that he could not be different and could not betray high confidence in his abilities. His mother’s Yevhenia Kinakh played a huge part in his success, she was the student’s constant assistant,” wrote a teacher in a post.
