According to sociologists, the leaders and key figures of the majority of the parties have already made their choice. The president hinted at some certainty with the position of the prime minister, Boyko voted as the people “ordered” him, and the chairman of the parliament forgot his passport.

The president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky came to the polling station with his wife, first lady Olena Zelenska. The guarantor assured that he expects a fair result of the elections and said that he is already holding consultations with the candidates for the head of government position. Zelensky assured that it should be a professional economist “out of any political movement”.

“I want it to be an absolutely independent person who has never been a prime minister, speaker or leader of any faction. I see such a leader. I will tell you honestly: consultations are held, I am talking,” the president stressed.

But the leader of the party “Servant of the People” Dmytro Razumkov, who has already used the right to vote, did not deny that he will become the chairman of the parliament in his comment to journalists. “Everything is possible, but it is too early to talk about it,” the political strategist of Volodymyr Zelensky assured.

According to him, changes began in the country three months ago, and now there is a “third round of elections” in Ukraine. Razumkov noted that the president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky did not expect such an indifferent attitude to their duties from the parliament, so the “understanding of the need for global changes” came.

The fifth president of Ukraine and the leader of the “European Solidarity” party Petro Poroshenko has also voted. He came to one of the polling stations in Kyiv together with his wife and children. The former president stressed that he voted for the European Union and NATO and for our country “which is moving forward into the family of the European nations.”

“I voted for a unique team that is able to stop the Russian revenge and is able to move the country forward. For a team that has strength, will, patriotism, experience, determination. For the team, which was the object of attacks by the Russian fifth column and the country of the aggressor throughout the campaign,” Poroshenko added.

The chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of the eighth convocation Andrii Parubii voted on the same site. However, not without a curiosity: the speaker of the parliament forgot his passport, and he had to wait until the assistant brought the document. Parubii boasted of a “fighting” mood but did not dare to predict the results, especially for the “majority”.

“As far as I know, in many districts in Western Ukraine, for example, the leaders are toe-to-toe in this run, so I don’t expect crushing victories, as in the previous elections,” said the head of the VR.

The leader of “Batkivshchyna” party, Yulia Tymoshenko, came to the parliamentary elections together with her husband. After voting, the politician assured that “Ukraine has no time for mistakes and experiments”.

“Each bulletin today is a bulletin for life, for the life of our children and grandchildren,” Tymoshenko said. According to her, it is necessary to start acting immediately after the elections, therefore, the head of “Batkivshchyna” urged all to vote responsibly, after all, “the destiny of Ukraine is in everyone’s hand”.

“Come to the site to make your choice, so that finally a country has a chance. This time Ukraine can revive, stand on its feet,” Tymoshenko assured.

The co-head of the “Opposition Platform – For Life” party Yurii Boyko has already made his choice as well. The ex-minister of energy in the governments of Viktor Yanukovych and Mykola Azarov used the right to vote at the polling station in the village of Ivankovychi, Vasylkiv district of Kyiv oblast. According to him, he voted for “peace and everything that he was ordered by the people during his trips around the country”.

“I hope that choosing us will be the embodiment of what they want to see from the politicians,” Boyko said.

The leader of the “Voice” party, Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, at the polling station boasted a good mood and assured that, according to his forecasts, “everything will be fine”. However, the leader of Okean Elzy, couldn’t answer anything concrete to the numerous questions whether Serhiy Prytula will get to the Parliament.

“I hope that we will have fair and transparent elections, and the exit polls and calculations will coincide. We are going to Parliament for the sake of changing the country,” Vakarchuk said.
