In the Bakhmut, Donetsk region, commission members signed blank forms with the results of the voting. This was reported by Yaroslav Trakalo, a spokesman of the National Police of Ukraine. He noted that there the elections “actually ended, failing to start.”
“It remained only at the right time to write in the name of the candidate – ‘the winner’ or the ‘correct’ name of the party,” he said.
“According to this fact, criminal proceedings were started on the charge ‘Forgery of election documents and the results of voting’. The punishment for offence – from 7 to 10 years of imprisonment,” the police added.
