Law enforcers detained Dmytro Golovin, a former head of the National Police Headquarters in Odesa region, for stealing in particularly large quantities. This is reported by the press service of the National Police.

“Former police chief of the Odesa region has been charged with involvement in a criminal offense, stipulated in Part 5 Art. 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. This article involves liability for the appropriation, expropriation or possession of property by abuse of office.

The leadership of the National Police of Ukraine stresses the irreconcilable attitude to any violations of the law, regardless of the ranks of employees, and will insist on objective investigation and bringing the perpetrators to the liability stipulated by law”, the statement said.
