The parliament of the new convocation will not have a meeting earlier than September 1. This was stated by the head of the President’s Office Andriy Bohdan during a briefing.
“Being a lawyer, I understand the timetable for the Verkhovna Rada’s start-up, and it seems that it will not have time to start work earlier than September 1. It depends on a large number of lawsuits that do not allow the CEC to form the final version of the Verkhovna Rada board,” he said.
However, earlier Servant of the People party repeatedly stated that they would like to hold the first session of the Verkhovna Rada on August 24.
