Kyiv police arrested two participants in pogrom at the press centre of the news agency Ukrinform, Communications Department of the Metropolitan Police reported on July 30.
According to the authorities, at about 16:30, Sevchenkivsky Police Centre received a message about the fight on Bohdana Khmelnytskogo Street.
“The police found that unknown persons broke into the room, fired a conflict, threw eggs, smashed the entrance door and ran away. Two offenders were arrested and brought to the police centre. Now they are being questioned,” the statement reads.
On July 30 a group of people in T-shirts with the inscription “Tradition and Order” burst in the press-conference of a candidate for MP and devasted the press centre in the office of the news agency Ukrinform in Kyiv.
