The lawyer of political prisoner Roman Sushchenko, Mark Feigin, believes that there is an opportunity to exchange the Ukrainian journalist. This is stated by the defender of the prisoner.
Having visited Sushchenko, his lawyer Mark Feigin, said that on the eve of the parliamentary elections several events inspired some optimism.
“Alternatively, Sushchenko’s transfer to Ukraine to serve his sentence is expected. And, probably, an exchange too. However, the Ukrainian side needs to be active in this matter. So the prospect, while still rather illusory, is there,” Feigin said.
He also said that his client was in a cell alone. It is planned that the Administrative Commission will continue his stay in a safe place for three months.
