The aircraft of Boeing-738 of the Russian airline “Globus” on 7 August received permission from the Ukrainian Air Center to use the airspace of Ukraine in the area of the Lviv Regional Dispatch Center.

The permit was granted because of the likelihood of an in-flight emergency that could occur due to thunderstorms over Ukraine, Poland and Belarus.

“The Russian vessel, which was flying from the Italian city of Bari to Moscow, was in Ukrainian airspace for 26 minutes,” the message said.
