The Prosecutor General’s Office asks the Deputy Minister for Temporary Occupied Territories Yuriy Hrymchak and his accomplice Ihor Ovdienko to be arrested with the possibility of bail – both in the amount of 12 million UAH.

Hrymchak’s pre-trial detention hearing is scheduled to begin at approximately 5pm on Friday.

On August 14, detectives detained the Deputy Minister for Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons, Yuriy Hrymchak and his assistant, for allegedly receiving a $ 480,000 bribe.

According to NABU, they generally demanded a $ 1.1 million from the legal representative for influencing decision-making by persons authorized to perform state functions.
