The President’s Office of Ukraine receives congratulations from foreign leaders to mark the 28th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence. This was reported by the press service of the President.
So US President Donald Trump stressed the sustained support of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. “Over the next year, the United States of America will work in partnership with the government and people of Ukraine to advance reforms that are crucial to Ukraine’s success,” the White House leader said in his message. The Queen of Great Britain Elizabeth II sent “the best wishes of happiness and prosperity to the people of Ukraine”.
France’s President Emmanuel Macron has already saluted Ukraine on the holiday. In his message, he focused on the conflict in the Donbas and the “initiative and determination” of President Volodymyr Zelensky, aimed at making progress. “And I would like to assure you of my desire to reach tangible results in the Normandy format negotiations and in the negotiations with Russia,” Macron congratulates. He also stressed the importance of implementing reforms in Ukraine, in particular in the fight against corruption.
“Greetings have been received from a number of leaders from other countries of the world,” the President’s Office added.
