Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and German Chancellor Angela Merkel discussed support for Ukraine at the G7 summit and urged it to continue the path of reform. The press service of the Prime Minister of Canada reports.
“The prime minister and the chancellor have discussed support for Ukraine and stressed the importance of reforms, noting the significant mandate given after the presidential and parliamentary elections,” Trudeau said.
“The two leaders discussed the need for battle climate change. They raised concerns about the fires in the Amazon and recognized the issue as an international crisis to be addressed under the G7,” the Canadian Prime Minister added.
