The Verkhovna Rada of the 9th convocation has appointed the Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk to the post. 290 deputies voted in favor of the decision.
During his speech in the Council, Oleksiy Honcharuk promised to put an end to corruption in his Cabinet: “There will be no stealing in the new government.” The prime minister also stressed the importance of strong economic growth – at least 5-7%. Among the tactical goals, he called affordable loans.
In addition, he believes it is important to change the country’s image in the world, in particular, to work with international partners and creditors. As for the creditors, Honcharuk said that in a few weeks the IMF mission will come to Kyiv.
