Prosecutor General Ruslan Ryaboshapka has signed orders for the dismissal of prosecutors from four regions.

“On September 3, 2019, following the law of Ukraine on the Prosecutor’s Office, Prosecutor General Ruslan Ryaboshapka signed orders for dismissal of prosecutors from Vinnytsya, Zhytomyr, Odesa and Cherkasy regions,” the statement reads.

At the GPU, they reminded that at a meeting with representatives of the Cherkasy region during a working visit of President Volodymyr Zelensky to the latter, some participants of the conversation complained about the work of the prosecutor of the region. Zelensky, in his turn, emphasized the inadequate work of the prosecution bodies of the region, in particular in the fight against illegal amber production.
