The suspected mercenary involved in the crash of the Malaysian Boeing on the MH17 flight in Donbas, Vladimir Tsemakh, will return to Ukraine-uncontrolled territories at the place of registration. Prosecutor Oleh Peresada reported about this.
“It is likely that he would flee and hide from the investigation. The prosecutor’s office objected to the satisfaction of Tsemakh’s appeal since not all accomplices were established,” the prosecutor emphasized.
Asked if Ukraine could extradite Tsemakh to Russia within the framework of a prisoner exchange, the prosecutor replied, “The issue of exchange is political, not within my competence.”
