Former deputies from the Opposition Bloc Oleksandr Vilkul and Dmytro Kolesnikov were put on the wanted list. This was announced by ex-prosecutor Yuriy Lutsenko on Facebook.
He recalled that a year ago, these deputies were taken under the protection of the Regulatory Committee and the Verkhovna Rada, without giving permission for criminal prosecution.
“And only after they lost their parliamentary status, they were announced suspicions and started the search procedure,” Lutsenko said.
According to the investigation, Vilkul caused losses to the community of one of the districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region more than UAH 1,200,000, being the head of the regional state administration (2010-2012). Then, by his order, the purpose of two land plots that belonged to collective farms, with a total area of 21 hectares, were illegally used to expand a quarry.
