Ukrainian sailors have been released under the personal obligation of Lyudmila Denisova, the Commissioner for Human Rights. The lawyer of the sailor Mykola Polozov told about it.
According to him, the investigation satisfied the Ombudswoman’s request.
The lawyer also confirmed that all 24 prisoners of war were brought to the Vnukovo-2 Moscow airport by bus in the morning. The flight of prisoners from Moscow to Kyiv is now expected.
“Once all the formalities on this and this side are settled, the procedure will be implemented,” Polozov added.
The lawyer reminded that in Russia sailors are now charged with criminal matters, but in Ukraine they will be free people.
“In Ukraine, there are no criminal cases against 22 Navy sailors and two SSU staff, so no one can prosecute them,” Polozov added.
