At the 76th Venice Film Festival, the dystopia of Ukrainian director  Valentyn Vasyanovych Atlantis received the prize as the best film of the Horizons program, reports the press service of Derzhkino of Ukraine.

Horizons is the second largest program of the Venice Film Festival and is held in parallel with the main competition. To participate in this section selected feature films and documentaries should represent new trends in the development of world cinema. 19 full-length films competed for victory in this program this year,” the official website of Derzhkino of Ukraine on the social network Facebook said on Saturday.

“Atlantis is a film about the future victory in the war with Russia. A film about convulsions, before the final destruction of the industrial Donbas myth: at the level of the industrial landscape, and above all, in the human dimension,” the State Committee of Ukraine summed up.
